Hell's Precipice Bonus...Hard Mode
We have tried twice now to get the bonus on Hell's Precipice in hard mode. Everytime we get close to the Seer he gets owned by the Burning Titan next to him. We have tried to pull the sparks back with a longbow. We are coming from the southeast, after avoiding the big boss mob.
Team build is balanced. 1 Terra-tank 1 Mesmer 1 Ranger 1 Ele 2 Necro's 2 Monks Prot/Heal Do we need to have a 3rd monk or just the prot monk leeroy the seer? Is it worth trying to go through the boss mob and come from the south west side? Other than that this team build pretty well owned the rest of the mission. |

Bonder monk would probably help. I'm guessing you have the Ranger for interrupts, but you could sacrifice him for the bonder. Just make sure the tank has some sort of interrupt.

hmm...i did this with H & H, team was..
Me as my W/R - typical build ie/4-5 attacks -2utilities 1-heal Acolyte Sosuke - Nuker with Mantra of Frost and power drain. 14 fire, 12 e.storage 10 inspiration. Zhed - see above Acolyte Jin - packing Winter, Chokeing Gas and Marksmans wager with trolls and savage/disrupting and distracting and mantra of frost. Lina Mehnlo Cynn Devona pulled carefully - s p a c e d out the H&H, and use the terrain to bunch enemies to corners if possible. And as for the Seer part you mentioned..it really takes a speed blitz of the surrounding titans to stand a better chance of him surviving, although i can't fully put myself in ur shoes as i did not have a problem with said part. Sorry. Anyway pal, hope some of what i wrote helps u out ..even if it's just a little, it was the first mission i did when HM was released (worked backwards in proph - for fun) done first time. Sometimes, JUST sometimes H&H are a little better than real players, even guildies and friends..sounds nuts i know, but i swear it's my truth. |

there's some luck involved too. Sometimes the titans spawn on him, sometimes out of his aggro. You might just need a good spawn. Also, if you can have a pc monk give him some lovin, that will help

Are you rushing to the Seer? If you pull the last group before you approach the Seer then you can kill them at your leisure without activating the Titan next to the Seer. Then you can rush to him unimpeded and your monk should be able to keep him alive while the rest of the team kills the titan (and I think one more foe...I forget now) near him.
That's usually the reason I see this bonus fail in NM and HM. |

if the titan ends up attacking the seer too early, have a tank rush through the mob in between the team and the seer, to absorb some of the damage being dealt to the seer. have a monk get close enough to throw prot spirit on the seer. kill the group in between as quickly as possible.
